Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
