TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
